 Brooke Candy's lipstick (Mind Control) is an amplified finish and comes in a lipstick box with a unique design. However Dita Von Teese's lipstick is matte finish and comes in a specially designed lipstick box, has her signature engraved in the lipstick and glossy lipstick bullet with her signature.

 Review

Von Teese is a vivid tomato red matte and Mind Control is a bright cherry red amplified lipstick. Both lipsticks are very similar in color, with the exception of the finishes. Control is very watery and slippery on the lips. I am not a fan of wet looking lipsticks as they tend to wear off and transfer on everything. Von Teese even though a matte is not as shiny however it reminds me more of a satin finish, than a matte. Both are beautiful colors, but in terms of quality that is debatable. At the price point of $17.00 and $18.00 I would expect more, but M.A.C probably figures it's brand and name can make up for lackluster lipstick quality.  I give both of this lipsticks a 3 out of 5. I do like the packaging I do like the idea, however poorly executed. If you are a fan or both or either of these ladies, buy and support. But if you are looking for a quality red lipstick, save your coins.

 I love this color. It is more cherry than Ruby Woo, it is a matte however it feels and looks more like a satin on the lips. Not a retro matte, which are my favorites. M.A.C Retro Matte Lipstick (Fixed On Drama)

How I love this deep burgundy matte lipstick, but although it is a retro matte it is not as dry as ruby woo. As unforgiving as she can be at times on the lips I happen to like the extra dry formula. This color seems more like a satin to me, but those not too familiar or picky about lipsticks probably won't notice. I give this lipstick a 4 for effort, loving the color, name, pigmentation and lasting power. Will look great on all skin tones, but will probably be more dramatic and vampy on fair to tan complexions.

I absolutely love's this video and this song! perfect spring break anthem! I also love her fiery red hair, to get this look, all you have to do is find a red that is suitable for your skin-tone. I picked a burgundy red and I get tons of compliments on it. Make sure you keep the makeup minimal because the hair is so bold, pick a feature to highlight pick a bold eye or bold lip. Orange red lips or pinks are ideal. Also bold blue eyeshadow, green or lavender make the eyes stand out especially with a nude lip!

M.A.C Matte Lipstick: Lady Danger (Tutorial)

M.A.C's Lady Danger (Matte) is a good name for this extremely bold red-orange lipstick. Careful, on the wrong skin-tone and wrong makeup this lipstick can be dangerous indeed and not in a good way. This color lipstick is definitely not universal in my opinion. I can get away with it on a club night out, but it is not a everyday wearable red, like my Ruby Woo. Use sparingly.
Pros: long wearing, bright, matte
Cons: party or event lipstick only.

In this video I am wearing Model Model Charm wig, straightened with a flat iron. This wig is made with Neotura fiber, so it can be straightened or curled, this wig is about 16 inches curled and 19 inches flat ironed. It is a very vibrate orange red, perfect for spring 2011 season. When wearing this color during the day I recommend keeping the eyes as neutral possible, for night a smokey eye, blush and contouring.
Orange lipstick is hot hot hot for Spring 2011. Lady Danger is a perfect mix of red and orange. And is very flattering for medium to light skin-tones.

M.A.C Satin Lipstick: Pink Nouveau

This is a satin lipstick. I love the color it is a rich barbie pink, very flattering, all skin tones can pull this color off.
Recommendations: A brown, or plum lip liner to add dimension, if you medium to dark skin. A neutral or pink and purple smokey eye will make you look balanced and put together.
