 Baby matte liquid lipstick in Slayage (deep burgundy) and more matte than matte liquid lipstick in Michael (sienna). Slayage does try down fast and matte but it does transfer and rub off when touched, so it is not kiss proof. Michael however takes forever to dry at least 8 minutes, but does not transfer once dry. But colors suitable for all skin tones. $6.99

Swatch Out! Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip Color: Limbo

 Review

I love colourpop's ultra matte lip formula and the awesome affordability at $6.00 each. This color is sexy and bold. However the color is not so deep on my skin tone that it appears vampy. I am surprised that it is now a favorite of mine, considering that I have always shy'd away from brown lipsticks because they appear washed out against my skin tone. The liquid lipstick formula, goes on wet and dries down very quickly to a non transferable matte finish, that last for hours on end. I can wear it through my 8 hour work shift only retouching my inner lips after eating lunch. Perfect. (Rating) 5 out of 5. 

Suitable for fair to deep tan skin tones.

*Close lip tube tightly after use.

*The Colourpop branding on tube will rub off after a couple uses. 

*Use makeup remover or makeup remover wipes to remove.

Review

I'll start with the positives, which is the price and amount of product you get for under $10.00. The longevity of this product is fair, as it will wear for a long while as long as you don't eat or drink anything between that time. The colors are bold and dry down to a matte finish pretty quickly. Careful when applying, some colors may go on patchy or uneven. I found this to be the case with Backstage, (see dry swatch below). I did not have this issue with Frisky or Tulle. The packaging is that of a large lip gloss and it comes with a flat sponge tip applicator for easy application. Once applied to the lips it does not get sticky or tacky before drying like some of the more pricey liquid lipsticks that are on the market.  Since I am a fan of "Red" liquid lipsticks. Frisky is a dupe for Lime Crime's "Red Velvet" Velvetine and Jeffree "Star's Red Rum" Velour Liquid Lipstick.

I really like this lipsticks color and formula. It is easily to apply because of it's large applicator and the color dries quickly. Does not rub off or smudge. Not as bright a red as Lime Crime's Red Velvetine, but still pretty non the less. Review

I love this color and the formula. It did stay put 8 plus hours with eating and drinking, I only had to reapply at the corners and the inside of the lips afterwards. Did not fade or flake. Excellent coverage. This color is a deep purple, that would look vampy and amazing on all skin tones. Use makeup remover wipes to remove this product from the lips.

I love the color and the formula is thicker and dries faster than other brands. As far as long lasting it is long lasting however expect some flaking over time and reapplications after eating and even drinking from a straw. It is advertised as waterproof and indeed it is as I swatched it on my hand and it stayed throughout the next day until I removed it with a makeup wipe.  I recommend a oil based makeup remover to remove this lip product. Be quick and as accurate with your application as possible because this formula dries quick. I'd say up to a minute after application. No taste or smell to complain of. And I enjoy the packaging. This particular color is a pigmented beauty deep berry color, which would look great on all skin tones.  $11.98USD
