NYX *Pure Red* Matte Lipstick
As you can see from the on lip swatches that these lipsticks are not completely matte. To me they are more like a M.A.C satin finish. Sure they are more Matte than the NYX round lipsticks but that is it. Although the colors are very pretty I am a little disappointed in the color pay off it takes at least two coats in order to get the true color in the tube. But as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for, I mean what did I expect for $5.50 a piece. Definitely not comparable to Revlon's matte reds. I have satisfied my thirst for NYX red lipsticks. I think I have them all now, with the exception of those disappointing Matte lip cream things. Overall I am satisfied, my collection is complete. And I have some throw on Red's, so I can salvage my M.A.C Ruby Woo and Revlon Really Red. Perfect Red which is the name of NYX Lipgloss is what it says it is, Perfect, it is a deep blue base red. Pure Red is a bright blue based red with a slight orange undertone to it. In case anyone was wondering. Until next time ladies.
