Both colors are matte and very beautiful, however even though they are matte they do not go on fully opaque, but you can build the color which is nice. And once the color is on your lips it does not budge and also have a nice lip balm moisturizing feel to them. Amped applies alittle more patchy and tends to settle into the lines of my lips, even when my lips are moisturized. I do not have this problem with Mystic. I think it is because of the color, but I still love it so I make it work for me, I also love the small "sleek" packaging.
