Swatch Out! NYX Full Throttle Shadow Palette (Color Riot)

Full Throttle shadow palette in Color Riot. Features three matte shadows and one pressed pigment. $10.00USD. Now to be honest I am a little disappointed with this palette. I saw the rustic terracotta colors and got excited about all the possibilities. However when I went to swatch the colors they were lackluster and chalky. These colors look promising but looks can be deceiving and at the $10.00 price point I am shocked at the audacity. But never the less I decided to try them out on the eyes and was even more so stricken with buyers remorse. I have many NYX eye shadows that do not disappoint but just like the NYX Adorable palette, this one is a no go. I am not sure what has happened to the companies over all viewpoint of what quality is and should be. But I think supply and demand has forced them to mass produce which causes the customers to suffer because the formula is not as great as it once was. It cost to be the boss. And you get what you pay for, however I am finding even the big dogs like NARS, Tarte and Too Faced are producing lackluster dollar store quality makeup pigmentation at inflated prices. Blame the YouTube beauty community or bloggers for this sudden surge in makeup product interest. But there is simply no excuses and the girls who wait and save they're hard earned chips for this garbage is the ones that pay the ultimate price.
Recommendation: Use a white cream eye shadow base (NYX Eye shadow Base in White) under neath and do not swipe the colors on, pat them on with a brush for better color pay off and longevity. A eye shadow primer simply will not work.

Pressed! Revlon Nail Polish: Graceful

I love this color. It is a clean grey color, very classy and work friendly.
Looks on great on short to medium length nails. Shown with two coats of nail polish.

Colourpop Super Shock Cheek Highlighter: Over The Moon

This duocrome highlighter is super cute and pretty. Sorry pictures do it no justice.
It packs a lot of pink and violet sparkles and I'm sure would be blinding in certain lighting. Take caution when applying this cream to powder to the cheeks with your fingers because it will transfer and does not budge once applied. Great glitter pay off and longevity for face, eyes, and body. $8.00USD.

Swatch Out! Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip (Notion)

Notion is a deep plum color. That is not too dark which I love. Perfect for fall.
This color dries down a little slower than the other ultra matte lips and also tends to transfer a little bit, but it may be the color formula, because I have the same issue with their ultra matte lip More Better. Perfect for all skin tones. $6.00USD

These +Lime Crime  velvetines in Squash and Trouble are the perfect fun Autumn/Fall colors. These matte liquid liquid colors are definitely a treat. These colors are fun and different. Trouble is a muddy green and Squash is a muted orange. Both colors dry down fairly quickly, but don't have a lot of longevity on the lips. Perfect for all skin tones. $20.00USD 0.088fl oz or 2.6ml.
Pros
Cruelty free. Vegan.
Cons
The price is steep, for the small amount of product given.
Colors wear down too fast or easily.
Too many touch ups needed.
Colors apply slightly sheer to the lips.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky

This palette gives me everything except smokey when I look at the colors. It gives me a neutral vibe and so with that being said. I struggle to find a occasion to wear any of these colors. The colors in this palette are not uniform or cohesive with each other to bring a eye look together. The formulas in this palette are satin, metallic and matte, which is confusing on it's own because sometimes a metallic matte eye look can be difficult to pull off especially if you are new to makeup or not an expert on proper application. But don't fret! Urban Decay included a look book and a double ended eye shadow brush! Yay! So that settles that issue. So now on to the details, you get 12 eye shadows that are 1.3grams, 0.05 oz. The palette itself has a magnetic closure and is made of a sturdy plastic with a nice sized mirror. I like this palette over all, and the pigmentation and longevity of these shadows don't disappoint. $54.00 +Urban Decay Cosmetics

Recommendations: For deeper skin tones, apply a light color eye shadow base to eyelids instead of an eyelid primer for more color pay off.
