Wet n Wild's liquid lip colors are great and pigmented however the product is a heavy cream which I think is not necessary and it makes the drying time longer than it needs to be (5 minutes) also once it dries it is very difficult to remove I tried makeup remover, wipes, alcohol, even vitamin E. All I can see is ouch, all that rubbing and tugging on my lips left them irritated and inflamed. Wet n Wild should either work on this formula or pull this from the shelves all together. It is such a shame because the colors especially this one are beautiful. It comes with a sponge tip applicator and the price is under $5USD. I paid $2.99USD for mine.
Sephora's cream lip stain in #01 is absolutely amazing. I love it. It is easy to remove (I use makeup wipes) and is super pigmented, it can also be layered for a more intense effect. Once it is on it is not budging, all day wear, non transferable and no scent or weird taste. It comes with a sponge tip applicator for easy use and the packaging is sleek and the price is very reasonable. $12USD. I get many compliments with this color. It is a blue based bombshell red. It dries very quickly to a retro bright matte red.
Lime Crime's Red Velvet is a force to be reckoned with I thought it was the first of it's kind, but shortly after discovered Sephora's cream lip stain and then the light bulb went off in the head. This dupe is a little on the pricey side ($16USD) and a darker blue based red, that dries down to a matte finish. Since it is the first of it's kind I ever used I will always carry a special place in my makeup collection for this product. I still love it, it is pigmented easy to remove and has no taste or scent. It has build-able coverage and dries super fast. You may have to touch up after eating and drinking but that's the case with all of these products. I kissed a friend of mine and he was shocked that red did not transfer on his lips. Score. (FYI: This product is always sold out on the site, I recommend searching on eBay or other retailers for this product. Or you can try Sephora's cream lip stain #01 as an alternative.)
